16GBReplacing aerator cylinder :7. Trouble-ShootingDANGER ! The aerator cylinder can cause injuries !A V Prior to rectifying faults, unplug from the mainsand wait until the aerator cylinder has stopped.V Wear working gloves when rectifying faults.If the aerator cylinder is in wear adjustment position 3 and is worn,the aerator cylinder must be replaced.Only use the original GARDENA cylinder for art. 4068 which canbe ordered via GARDENA-Service.1. Unscrew two screws E on the underside of the housing.2. Lift aerator cylinder F at an angle 1 and pull away the driveshaft 2.3. Remove bearing shell K from the aerator cylinder F.4. Push new spring G, new stop H and new torsion spring I intothe new aerator roller F.5. Push new aerator cylinder F on to the drive shaft in such away that the torsion spring I is inserted in the gap in the driveshaft J.6. Push bearing shell K on to the aerator roller F.7. Screw bearing shell K to the underside of the housing E, with-out tightening too much.8. Set wear compensation to aerator position 1(see 6. Maintenance“Adjusting for wear” ).Problem Possible Cause RemedyAbnormal noise. Foreign bodies on the aerator 1. Switch off the Aerator,Clattering in the unit cylinder are hitting the Aerator. remove the mains plug fromWhistling sound Foreign bodies blocking the socket and wait until thethe aerator cylinder. Aerator has stopped rotating.2. Remove foreign bodies.3. Check aerator immediately.immediately.Cogged belt slipping. v Have the machine repairedby GARDENA Service.Motor will not start Faulty cable. v Check cable.The conductor cross-section of v Contact your electrician.the extension cable is possiblytoo low.EFKF I JIHGF12
