Thesechanges are designed to provide the installer with greaterdetails for installation. Meeting these requirements willreduce failure due to installation deficienciesNOTE: BI Units not installed correctly will have warrantyVoided.Guidelines For AssemblyThe underside and sides of the induction unit must beabsolutely clear of obstructions to provide for adequatecooling air to enter and exhaust. Install a flexible air ductincluding shackle provided with your built-in inductioncooker. Clearances between openings for air supply and airexhaust to obstacles (walls or floors), must be maintained toprovide clearances of at least 4” (102mm). The outgoing airmust leave without any obstacles In addition, make surethat the in-coming and outgoing exhaust air do not mixWe recommend guaranteeing the supply of fresh air by usinga tube with screens, vent ducts or Air Intake Kit.It is highly recommend that an exhaust fan be installedinto the cabinet This will force hot air out the cabinet andaway from the cooker (See figures # 3, 4 & 5)The fat and grease filter should be in visible view andlabeled A blocked grease filter can cause internal damage!Mounting InstructionsAs soon as the above mentioned preparations are made, thecompletely pre-mounted induction unit can be installed intothe counter. Apply silicone, which is provided with every airIntake Kit, completely around the underside of this stainlesssteel frame before lowering the induction cooker onto thecounter top. Once the built-in induction cooker is in place,food save silicone may be also applied completely aroundstainless steel top trim, this is highly recommended. Siliconeproperly installed, will provide a good seal completelyaround the induction cooker and stop moisture fromentering into the cooker.
