Please refer to your particular Airplane FlightManual and autopilot documentation for specific information and operatinginstructions.GAD 43 AttitudeIf the GAD 43 Adapter is providing attitude to the autopilot, test the disconnectmechanism prior to each flight in the following manner:1) Allow all avionics to complete power up and begin normal operation.2) Engage the autopilot while on the ground.3) Press and release the AP TEST soft key and verify that the autopilotdisconnects normally.NOTE: If the AP TEST soft key is held for longer than one second, the testwill not run.CAUTION: Do not use the autopilot if the AP TEST key fails to disconnectthe autopilot.Autopilot DisconnectWhen the GDU 620 attitude monitors have detected an AHRS malfunction,or the inability to actively monitor the AHRS, a “Check Attitude” annunciationwill be displayed on the PFD and the autopilot will automatically disconnect.NOTE: Only appears with the installation of an optional GAD 43Adapter.Check Attitude Annunciation
