The default setting (automatic backlightingadjustment) uses photocell technology to automatically adjust for ambientlighting conditions. Photocell calibration curves are pre-configured to optimizedisplay appearance through a broad range of cockpit lighting conditions. Manualbacklighting adjustment can be accomplished using the existing instrumentpanel dimmer bus or the following procedures.Backlighting Adjustment1) From the first AUX page, press the small MFD knob to highlight the “DisplayBrightness” “Mode” box.2) Turn the small MFD knob to select the desired brightness Level and then pressENTER.Figure 1-18 Display Brightness Adjustment3) Turn the large MFD knob to highlight the mode field.
