A cyan dot pattern indicates areas where nodata has been received from the FIS sensor. Solid cyanareas represent areas where the ground based weatherradars are unable to monitor weather. This is typicallycaused by terrain obstruction. When depicted, colorcoded weather intensity is presented and is an indica-tion of radar echo return strength. Different colorsare used for US and Canadian weather. Because ofweather radar differences, do not assume that the sameactual weather intensities are represented by the samecolors. The intensities associated with the color codesare available by viewing the Legend Overlay Option. The legend associated with the weather radar image isshown for the depicted radar data, US or Canadian. The weather display and Icing products aremutually exclusive. You may select to display eitherthe weather display or Icing, not both. Selecting theweather display will turn off the Icing display.WSI FIS Graphic Weather InfoWSI - FIS
