Data Field OptionsThe following list provides a brief description of each data fieldoption. Some of these options are supported only by devicesinterfaced to your GPSMAP 580/585 .Accuracy—the current accuracy of your GPS determined location.Bearing—the compass direction from your current location to a destination.Course—the preferred path of travel from your starting location to adestination.Course to Steer—the recommended direction to steer in order to reduce cross-track error and return to the course line. Shown as Steer.Cross Track—the distance you are off a preferred course in either direction,left or right.Depth (Marine Only)—the depth of water from the sonar NMEA input.Dest Wpt—see Waypoint (Destination).Destination Position— It shows the latitude/longitude data of your destinationDistance (Destination)—the entire distance of a route, from beginning to end.Distance (Next)—the distance to the next point on a route.ETA (Destination)—Estimated Time of Arrival. The estimated time you willreach your destination.ETA (Next)—Estimated Time of Arrival. The estimated time you will reach thenext point on your route.ETE (Destination)—Estimated Time Enroute. The estimated time required toreach your destination.ETE (Next)—Estimated Time Enroute. The estimated time required to reachthe next point on your route.Elevation—the altitude (height) above or below mean sea level (MSL).GPS Status—the current status of the GPS receiver, such as “3D GPS.”Location (Lat/Lon)—your current location as latitude/longitude coordinates.Location (Selected)—your current location described in the selected units ofmeasure (other than lat/lon).Max Speed—the maximum speed the vehicle has moved since last reset.Mov Avg Spd—see Trip Avg.
