A geocache locationis a waypoint with a special geocache symbolassigned to give special significance and to allow itto be separated from others on the waypoints list. Formore information on creating a geocache point, seeGeocache Setup instructions on page 62 andwww.garmin.com/products/gpsmap76Cx/.To find a geocache:1. Press FIND to open the Find Menu.2. Highlight the Geocache icon, and pressENTER to open the Geocache Page. You canview found geocaches or those that have notbeen found.3. Use the ROCKER to highlight a geocacheon the list, and press ENTER to open theinformation page.4. Highlight the Go To button and press ENTERto navigate to the geocache location. Whenyou navigate to a geocache, the CompassPage changes to Geocache Navigationmode and any additional information aboutdownloaded cache location is shown in thecomment field.When a geocache is found, the unit will mark thecache as found, log an entry into the calendar, andprovide an option that, when activated, will show thenearest cache.Finding a CityUse the Cities icon on the Find Menu to find any citylisted in the mapping database (either in the basemapor from downloaded detailed mapping data).To find a city:1. Press FIND to open the Find Menu.2. Highlight the Cities icon, and press ENTERThe Cities Page shows a list of cities near yourcurrent location.
