GSD 24/26 Installation Instructions 5Blink CodesWhen the sounder is installed, it turns on when the chartplotter is turned on. Thetwo-color (green and red) LED on the sounder indicates the current operationalstatus of the device.LeD Color Blink Speed StatusGreen Slow Sounder is connected to a chartplotter and is operatingproperly. You should see sonar data on the chartplotterRed Slow Sounder is turned on, but is not connected to achartplotter, is waiting to connect to a chartplotter, orhas a malfunctioning XID. If the sounder is connected tothe chartplotter and this code persists, check the wiringand connections.Red/Green Fast Sounder is in test mode.Red Very Fast System alarm. The chartplotter displays a messageindicating the type of failure. When the alarm conditionis fixed, the sounder must be completely disconnectedfrom and reconnected to its power source to clear thealarm.Red Solid Sounder has a hardware failure.
