The microSD card (not providedwith your unit) can be loaded with detailed maps andmapping data from optional MapSource CDs for acomputer. This enhances the versatility of your Rino.With selected MapSource detailed mapping data, you canview listings of nearby restaurants, lodging, shoppingcenters, attractions and entertainment, and addresses andphone numbers for any listed location.Map data transfer requires the USB interface cableprovided with the unit to transfer MapSource data froma computer to the microSD card in the Rino. Insertingthe microSD card in a standard SD card adapter and cardreader allows for faster transfer.To purchase high capacity microSD cards and pre-loaded map data sets from Garmin. When purchasing a microSD card for your unit,take into consideration the amount of data you plan tostore on the card.NOte: Waypoints stored on the microSD cardcannot be used by the Rino. Waypoints transferredusing MapSource are stored on the unit memory, andare used by the Rino.
