Refer to the instructions for setting UTC Time Offset on page 49.Daylight Savings – Can be turned On, Off, or set to Automatic.Time, Date, Sunrise and Sunset – Determined by the satellite information being received; cannot bechanged.‘Safety’ TabThe StreetPilot 2610/2650 is equipped with a ‘Safe Mode’ feature to improve driver safety. By default,this feature is enabled, but can be turned off to allow a passenger to operate the unit. When your vehicle ismoving, ‘Safe Mode’ disables the StreetPilot 2610/2650 functions which require significant operator atten-tion and may become a distraction while driving.Disabled functions include:• Map Panning• All FIND key functions (except Recent List)• All MENU key functions• Creating new routesWhen you come to a complete stop, these features are automatically re-enabled.Remember that current date and time are deter-mined by the satellites and cannot be changed.The ‘Safe Mode’ can be turned off to allow a pas-senger to operate the unit.System Setup
