Do not insert wrapped foods (e.g. in kitchen foil), to avoid risk of fire, elec-tric shock, and damage. Immediately unplug the appliance, if there is any kind ofmalfunction or problem (e.g. overheating or smoke is coming from the slots).• DO NOT attempt to dislodge food when the toaster is connected to thepower supply!If food becomes stuck in the appliance, disconnect the plug from the power supply and waitfor the appliance to cool before attempting to remove the food. DO NOT poke in the toastingslots with any objects (e.g. cooking utensils) or your fingers. Always take care not to damagethe internal mechanism or the heating elements of the appliance.
