Ambush Code - In the event that youare forced by an intruder to disarm yoursystem, this special code can be used todisarm the system, and simultaneouslysend a silent alarm to Central Station. Ifyour system has the Ambush featureenabled, the code assigned as the User8 code will function as your AmbushCode.Arming / Disarming - Turning thesystem on or off by entering your usercode at the keypad, followed by.Auto Interior Bypass - A feature whichallows the system to recognize when youhave not left the premises and automati-cally bypass any interior zones, deacti-vating devices such as motion sensors,allowing free movement throughout thepremises.Battery - A backup source of power toprovide protection for a limited time inthe event of a power failure.Bypass - the manual or automatic re-moval of one or more protection zonesfrom the system. Press and thenthe zone number to bypass a zone.Central Station - Monitors alarm,emergency and trouble reports from thealarm system and notifies proper authori-ties.Chime - a keypad beep which indicatesthat a door has been opened while thesystem is disarmed.Easy Exit - Allows an occupant to leavethe premises without disarming the sys-tem. Pressing and then while the system is armed will permit exitby removing the protection on the Exit/Entry door for 3 minutes.Exit/Entry Delay - The amount of timeyou are allowed to enter and leave thepremises when the system is armed.Exit/Entry Zone - A zone which willallow you to enter and leave thepremises when the system is armed.Instant Protection - Arming without En-try Delay while remaining on thepremises. (Press while armed)Keypad Sounder - A local warning de-vice at the keypad to alert that Entrydelay has started,System Trouble - A problem has beendetected in the system which may pre-vent it from working properly.TROUBLE will be lit to indicate a sys-tem trouble.User Code - A four digit code which isused to arm and disarm the system fromthe keypad.User 1 Code - A four digit code whichcan be used to program, re-programand erase user codes, as well as armand disarm the system from the keypad.Zone - An area which is protected by asecurity device.
