Failure to locate and repair damage,and discover loose or missing parts may result inan unsafe operating condition.1 Inspect the entire machine for damage andimproperly installed or missing parts including:· Electrical components, wiring and electricalcables· Hydraulic power unit, tank, hoses, fittings,cylinders and manifolds· Battery pack and connections· Drive motors· Wear pads· Tires and wheels· Limit switches, alarms and horn· Nut, bolts and other fasteners· Platform entry chain or gate· Beacons and alarms (if equipped)· Brake release components· Safety arm· Pothole guards· Platform extension· Scissor pins and retaining fasteners· Platform control joystick· Inverter (if equipped)Check the entire machine for:· Cracks in welds or structural components· Dents or damage to machine· Be sure that all structural and other criticalcomponents are present and all associatedfasteners and pins are in place and properlytightened· Side rails installed and bolts are fastened· Be sure that the chassis trays are in place,latched and properly connected
