See the serial plate for themachine weight.The machine must be on a level surface orsecured before releasing the brakes.Brake ReleaseOperation1 Chock the wheels to prevent the machine fromrolling.2 Be sure the winch line is properly secured to thedrive chassis tie points and the path is clear ofall obstructions.3 Before serial number 43180: Turn the brakerelease knob counterclockwise to open thebrake valve.After serial number 43179: Push in the brakerelease knob to open the brake valve.4 Pump the brake release pump knob.After the machine is loaded:1 Chock the wheels to prevent the machine fromrolling.2 Before serial number 43180: Turn the brakerelease knob clockwise to reset the brakes.After serial number 43179: Press and hold thefunction enable switch on the control handle.Move the control handle off center to reset thebrakes.Towing the Genie GS-2668 DC or the GenieGS-3268 DC is not recommended. If the machinemust be towed, do not exceed 2 mph / 3.2 km/h.
