It is a standard feature on all GTH-842 >H-844 models. The purpose for this device is to lock thefront axle differential to gain added traction under certainconditions.The front axle differential lock switch must be depressed andheld in order to activate the axle differential lock. Releasing theswitch disengages the axle differential lock.Use this differential lock when you are unable to drive throughcertain types of terrain such as sand, mud, snow, etc.WARNINGC
