Improper hydraulicoil levels can damage hydraulic components. Dailychecks allow the inspector to identify changesin oil level that might indicate the presence ofhydraulic system problems.1 Be sure that the boom is in the stowed position.2 Visually inspect the sight gauge located on theside of the hydraulic oil tank.Result: The hydraulic oil level should be at thefull black mark of the sight gauge.3 Add oil as needed.
