Remember to turn off wirelessLAN when using your computer in the airplane.To turn on the WLAN radio:1. Make sure that the RF switch is at the ON position.2. Press Fn+F1 to turn on the WLAN radio (see “Hot Keys” in Chapter2), indicated by the WLAN indicator ( ) glowing in green whenon.If you need to temporarily turn off the radio, press Fn+F1. To resumenetwork connection, press Fn+F1 again.It takes approximately 30 seconds for your computer to make a successfulWLAN connection and approximately 10 seconds to disconnect.Connecting to a Wireless NetworkTo connect to a wireless network:1. Make sure that the WLAN radio is on (see the previous section).2. Right-click the Wireless Network Connection icon located on theWindows system tray and select Connect to a network.
