Using Special Utilities 6-17ECO InformationDepending on the system, the left portion of the ECO tab shows theavailable profile to manage the system’s power consumption.Active ProfileThe right upper portion of the ECO tab shows the name of the currentprofile selected.Profile SettingsThe lower right portion of the ECO tab contains the following:z Turn on/off the following for power saving: WWAN, Bluetooth, WLAN,and optical disk drive.z Power Scheme – select Home/Office Desk, Portable/Laptop, Presentation, AlwaysOn, Minimal Power Management, or Max Battery if your system is runningWindows XP. Select Balanced, High Performance or Power Saver if the systemis running Windows Vista. The setting here will correspond to yoursettings in Windows. (See Windows Help for the description to each ofthe power scheme.)z Brightness – adjust the brightness setting from 0 ~ 63. This option is notavailable on systems running Windows Vista.z Default – revert back to original profile setting.
