Switching On or Off the PhoneWhen the device is turned on, the phone is switched on by default. Whenneeded (for example, on an airplane), you can switch off the phone withoutturning off your device.1. Tap the Wireless Manager section onthe Today screen.- or -Tap the connectivity indicator on thenavigation bar and tap Wireless Manager.2. The Wireless Manager screen appears.Tap Phone to switch it from on to off orthe other way around. Tap Done.3. When the phone is switched on, you maybe requested to enter the PIN (PersonalIdentification Number) code if it has beenset.Then, your device will search for themobile phone network service and showthe name in the Wireless Manager sectionon the Today screen.When the phone is switched off, theWireless Manager section on the Todayscreen displays Phone off.
