Log in to the firewall through the console port, execute the telnet server enable command in systemview to enable the Telnet service, and execute the user privilege level command in VTY userinterface view to specify the command level for Telnet users. By default, the Telnet service isdisabled on the firewall.2. Connect a PC to the firewall's management interface M-GigabitEthernet 0/0 by using a crossoverEthernet cable.3. Assign the PC an IP address in the network segment 192.168.0.0/24 (except for 192.168.0.1),for example, 192.168.0.2.4. Run the Telnet client on the PC to Telnet to the firewall.
