9-15 - DASH / AUTOSECTION 9 – MISCELLANEOUSTRANSPORTINGWhen driving the machine on a publicroadway or elsewhere, be aware of anysituation where the sprayer will be passingunder an object with a clearance lower thanthe transporting height of the machine. Referto “Specifications” provided in theIntroduction Section elsewhere in thismanual for further information.Cradling the BoomsWARNING• Never operate the sprayer on a publicroadway with solution in the tanks.• Never load or unload the sprayer withsolution in the tanks.• Stopping the sprayer on trailer ramps mayresult in the sprayer to tip over.WARNINGWhen transporting the sprayer, observethe following to avoid serious injury ordeath:• Check for adequate clearance beforedriving under any overhead obstructions.• Contact with power lines may result inserious injury or death.CAUTIONAvoid collisions. Before transportingmachine on a public roadway, check andfollow local regulations regarding sizelimits, the use of lights, flags, signs, pilotvehicles, and other requirements fortransporting loads using trailer.CAUTIONEnsure the booms are folded and incradles before transporting the machine.Failure to comply may result in injury orequipment damage.CAUTIONDo not operate the machine at speedsexceeding 20 mph (32 km/h) withsolution in the tanks. Operating speedsexceeding 20 mph (32 km/h) with fullyloaded tanks may result in tire blow-outor wheel hub damage and will void thewarranty.CAUTIONBooms must be in FOLDED positionwhen cradled. Failure to comply willresult in property damage.
