To avoid a safetyhazard, an authorised Haierservice engineer must replacethe power cord.Use only attachments,consumables or sparesrecommended or supplied byHaier. The use of accessoriesor attachments notrecommended by Haier maycause injuries.Only use the appliance inaccordance with the powerspecification on the ratingplate.WARNING Risk of scalding!Never touch the inside of theappliance while in use andafter operation. The heatingelement is subject to residualheat after use. Please alwaysuse the handle to carry thebasket.Only press the basket releasebutton with the basketsresting flat on a counter (orany level, heat-resistantsurface).INSTRUCTIONS FOR SAFE USEDo not block any ventilationopenings. Hot steam isreleased through air outlets.Keep your hands and faceaway from the hot steam andopenings. Also be careful ofhot steam and air when youremove the basket from theappliance.Do not operate the applianceby means of an external timeror separate remote-controlsystem.Do not let any water or otherliquid enter the appliance toprevent electric shock.Do not pull or carry theappliance by the power cord.Always unplug the appliancefrom the socket by pullingthe plug instead of the cord.Do not place the power cordover sharp edges or nearhot surfaces. Do not use anextension cord.Do not plug in the appliance oroperate it with wet hands.Never immerse the appliance,cord, plug or main unit inwater or other liquid.Risk of fire! The food mayburn, therefore do not usethe appliance near or belowcombustible material, such ascurtains.Do not place the applianceagainst the wall or otherappliances. Keep a free spaceof at least 10cm on the backand sides for the appliance.Do not place anything on topof the appliance while in use.WARNING Risk of injury! Be careful when youhandle them.Do not overfill above themaximum line indicated inthe basket. Prevent food fromtouch with heating elements.Excessive or oversized food,paper, carboard, plastic ormetal foil packages must notbe cooked which may causerisk of fire.Use the recommended cookingtime for food, excessivecooking time could lead thefood to burn.Only connect the appliance toan earthed wall socket. Alwaysmake sure that the plug isinserted into the wall socketproperly.Use on worktop only. Do notplace the appliance near theedge of a worktop.Do not operate the applianceon an inclined surface andmove it when working.
