17TROUBLE SHOOTINGFollowings are not problemsSound of water flowing isnot a problem.Sound of cracking is heard.Smell are generated.During operation, white fog or steamcomes out from the indoor unit.No outlet air or fan speed can't be changedin dry mode.In cooling operation, unit switches toblowing operation.Won't start?In heating operation, water or steam areblown out of outdoor unit.In heating operation, indoor fan won't stopeven if unit is stopped.During unit operation or at stop, a swishing orgurgling noise may be heard. This noise is generatedby refrigerant flowing in the system.Unit will not restart after stop.During unit operation, a cracking noise may be heard.This noise is generated by the casing expanding orshrinking because of temperature changes.This is because the system circulates smells from theinterior air such as the smell of cigarettes or thepainting on the furniture.When unit is running at places like restaurant, etc. wheredense edible oil fumes always exist, this will happen.To prevent frost from accumulating on indoor heatexchanger, unit will switch to blowing operation for awhile then resume cooling operation.Though ON/OFF button is setto ON, unit won't resume cooling,dry or heating operationin 3 min after it is stopped, thisis because of 3-min-delayprotection circuit.Please wait 3 minutesUnit will reduce fan speed repeatedly and automaticallyif room temp. is too low in dry operation.This occurs when frost accumulatedon the outdoor unit is removed.(during defrosting operation)After unit stop, indoor fan will go on runninguntil indoor unit cools down.
