Unplug the airconditioner in order to avoid the risk ofchild entrapment.It must be noticed that air conditionersystem contains refrigerants, which requirespecialized waste disposal. The valuablematerials contained in a air conditioner canbe recycled. Contact your local wastedisposal center for proper disposal of anold air conditioner and contact your localauthority or your dealer if you have anyquestion. Please ensure that the pipeworkof your air conditioner does not getdamaged prior to being picked up by therelevant waste disposal center, andcontribute to environmental awareness byinsisting on an appropriate, anti-pollutionmethod of disposal.Disposal of the packaging of your newair conditionerAll the packaging materials employed inthe package of your new air conditionermay be disposed without any danger to theenvironment.The cardboard box may be broken or cutinto smaller pieces and given to a wastepaper disposal service. The wrapping bagmade of polyethylene and the polyethylenefoam pads contain no fluorochlorichydrocarbon.All these valuable materials may be taken to awaste collecting center and used again afteradequate recycling.Consult your local authorities for the name andaddress of the waste materials collecting centersand waste paper disposal services nearest toyour house.Safety Instructions and WarningsBefore starting the air conditioner, read theinformation given in the User's Guidecarefully.
