The compressor will cycle on and off to keepthe room at the set level of comfort. Set the thermostat at alower number and the indoor air will become cooler. The room temperature will appear in thedisplay.Auto Fan ModeSet to Auto for the fan speed to automatically set to thespeed needed to provide optimum comfort settings with theset temperature.If the room needs more cooling, the fan speed willautomatically increase. If the room needs less cooling, the fanspeed will automatically decrease.Control Panel Lights On/Off FeatureThis air conditioner has a control panel lights on/off featurewhere its lights will turn off when there is no activity with thecontrols for over one minute. To wake up the controls, pressany pad on the controls and the lights will come on to showthe previous settings.To turn this feature off, press and hold the SLEEP pad,on the unit, for 5 seconds.
