11ï If necessary, press the ARROW keys to select a different buffer value.ï The ì î tag will blink on the LCD until the reading isstable.ï When the reading is stable and close to the selected buffer, theìREADYî tag will be displayed and the ìCFMî tag will blink.ï Press CFM to confirm calibration.ï If the fifth calibration point is reached, the instrumentstores the calibration value and returns to normal mea-surement mode, or else it goes to the next calibration point.Note: ï If the value measured by the instrument is not close to theselected buffer, ìWRONGî ì BUF î and ìWRONGî ì î tags willblink alternately. In this case, check if the correct buffer has beenused or regenerate the electrode by following the Cleaning Proce-dure (see page 30). If necessary, change the buffer or theelectrode.ï If ìWRONGî, ìBuffer pHî tags and ìOldî tag on the secondary LCDare displayed blinking, an inconsistency between new and previous(old) calibration is detected. Clear calibration parameters bypressing SET/CLR and proceed with calibration from the currentcalibration point (the instrument will keep all confirmed valuesduring current calibration).ï The ìWRONGî tag and temperature value are displayed blinkingif temperature reading is out of the defined temperature range ofthe buffer. Calibration cannot be confirmed in this situation.ï Press RANGE to toggle between pH buffer, buffernumber and temperature reading on the secondaryLCD during calibration.Note: Calibration parameters are evaluated taking in consideration the newvalues for the confirmed buffers in current calibration and the oldvalues, if existing, for the other buffers. To clear old calibration values, press SET/CLR before exiting calibration.
