29Chapter 4 - CALIBRATION MODEHI 9828 allows to perform six different types of calibration, one for each param-eter and also a quick single point calibration for all the parameters. The calibration data are memorized in the non volatile probe memory. This func-tion is useful to use the same probe with different meters without the need torecalibrate.• To perform a calibration, select “Calibration”in the main menu with the arrow keys and thenpress OK.NOTE: If the password is enabled and the latestfunction shown on display was not apassword protected feature, the meterwill ask to insert the password.• Select the type of calibration with the arrow keys and then press OK.The available options are:Quick Calibration (allows the D.O. saturation, pH and conductivity calibrationwith a single point procedure), pH, Dissolved Oxygen, Conductivity, Atmosphericpressure, ORP and Temperature.4.1 QUICK CALIBRATIONThe quick calibration is a feature that allows the user to calibrate the multipa-rameter probe on the field, with only one solution, HI 9828-25, in a fast andeasy way.• Fill the calibration beaker with HI 9828-25 calibration solution.• Screw the calibration beaker clockwise on the probe body. Some solution willoverflow.• Wait a few minutes to stabilize.• In Calibration menu, select Quick calibrationand press OK.• A 3 items (pH, Conductivity and DissolvedOxygen)screen appears, the pH starts to blink and the “Not ready”message
