Pot recognition ensures thatthe cooking zones will be activated only ifthere is a pot with a ferromagnetic base oranother object made of the same kind of met-al located there. The cooking zone becomesinactive as soon as the pot or the magneticobject is removed.Switching the hob on--0 00 0(10)(9)• To switch the hob on, touch the on/offsensor (9).An acoustic signal will sound.On the heating level display next to eachslider sensor, ‘0’ will illuminate and the (10)minus symbols (--) will appear on the timesensor.If you do not press a sensor or do notplace suitable cookware on the cookingzone within one minute of switching the hobon, the hob will switch off automatically.Switching on/selecting thecooking zone1.
