273 - DescriptionEquipmentRing drawbarThis is attached near the tractor’s rear axle. Before engaging the tractorPTO (Power take-off ), make sure the drawbar pin is fi rmly in place andsecured, and that the tractor’s wheels do not touch the mistblowerwhen turning. There needs to be a CV joint on the side of the tractor. The length ofthe drawbar can be adjusted (see section “Adjusting the length of thedrawbar”).Fork drawbarThis is attached to a transversal hole boom fi ttet to tractor’s lift arms. Before engaging the tractor PTO make sure the drawbar pin is fi rmlyin place and secured, and that the tractor’s wheels do not touch themistblower when turning.A CV joint is not required. The length of the drawbar can be adjusted(see section “Adjusting the length of the drawbar”).Turnable drawbarThis is attached to the tractor’s lift arms. Before engaging the tractorPTO make sure the diameter of the shaft fits the ball couplers at the liftarms. Also make sure to fi t the securing pins and check that the tractor’swheels do not touch the mistblower when turning. This type of coupling allows narrow turns, if a CV joint is fi tted at the mistblower’s power intake. The length of the drawbar can be adjusted (seesection “Adjusting the length of the drawbar”).The turnable drawbars, model X and Y are fi tted under the rear axle ofthe tractor, a common arrangement on smaller fruit orchard models oftractors. Important that the two stop bolt are tighten up, to avoid slackAngle transmission shaft fi tted. Tight turns with PTO engagedmay damage the transmission shaft, the pump crank shaft andinduce huge vibrations through the gearbox. This may lead tosevere damages on gearbox and/or fan.Self-steering drawbar.XY
