Search FunctionsThe FL8350 is equipped with a variety offunctions that make it easy to search forspecific parts of any CD.SearchIf you wish to quickly scan through adisc to locate a particular passage orprogram, press the Search buttons& e. The Forward Search button— plays the disc forward in highspeed, while the Reverse Searchbutton ‚ plays the disc backwards inhigh speed. When the desired part of thedisc is heard, release the Search buttonto resume normal play speed.SkipTo move from one track on a disc toanother, press one of the Skip buttons^ f. Pressing the Forward Skipbutton fl· will move you forwardsthrough the disc, one track at a time,while pressing the Reverse Skipbutton ‡fi will move you back onetrack at a time.The Skip buttons may be used whenthe FL8350 is either playing or stopped.If the unit is stopped, the Skip buttonsmay be used to locate the first track tobe played. The Play button $ h mustbe pressed to begin play. If the Skip but-tons are used while the unit is alreadyplaying, the audio output will stop whilethe new track is located, and play willautomatically resume after the Skipbutton is released.Intro SearchThis feature lets you locate a track byplaying the first 10 seconds of each track.When the Intro button 8 k is pressed,the unit will play only 10 seconds of eachtrack, and then automatically move tothe next track. When you have reached atrack that you wish to listen to in itsentirety, press the Intro button again toresume normal operation. When theIntro feature is activated, the INTROindicator will illuminate in theInformation Display Ó to remindyou that Intro Search is in use.When the Intro button is pressed, theFL8350 will first play through the discthat is currently in the play position, andthen move on to each disc position thatis loaded.12
