Programmed Play Operation13The FL8350’s advanced programmingcapability enables you to preset theorder in which tracks play, to repeatspecific discs or tracks or to repeat alldiscs and tracks, or to repeat any portionof a specific disc.Programmed PlayProgrammed play allows you to programup to 32 tracks or complete-disc play-through into the FL8350’s memory.To begin programming the FL8350,press the Program button ) n,followed by the Play button $ h.The PROGRAM indicator will light inthe Information Display Ó.You may now begin to enter the discs andtracks in the order in which you wish tohave them play. Once the PROGRAMindicator is lit, P-01 will appear in theInformation Display, replacing the tracktime. This indicates that you are about toprogram the first track.Press the Disc Select button ( b tochoose the first disc to be programmed,and note that ALL will flash in theInformation Display. To have all trackson the disc play in order as the first pro-gram step, press the Program button )n. To select a single track on the disc,press the Numeric buttons ccorresponding to the desired track. Youmay also use the Skip buttons ^ fto select a track.When the disc and track are selected,press the Program button ) n. Notethat the program step indication on theright side of the Information Display willchange to P-02. You may now selectanother disc and/or track for the nextprogram step following the instructionshown above. When the program step isselected, press the Program button )n. Repeat this procedure for each pro-gram step until you have completed thedesired programming. Press the Stopbutton % g to complete a programsequence, or press Play $ h to beginimmediate play of a program sequence.If the maximum of 32 program steps isreached, the program step indication atthe right side of the Information Displaywill go out, and the disc and track thathave been programmed as the firstprogram step will be shown.Once a program list has been played,press the Play button $ h to beginlistening to the sequence. After the entireprogram has been played, the FL8350 willstop. As long as the Stop button % ghas not been pressed, and the PROGRAMindicator remains lit, you may repeat theprogrammed play sequence again bypressing the Play button $ h.Pressing the Stop button % g,opening the disc drawer by pressing theOpen/Close button ! a or turningthe FL8350 off will erase the programinformation from the unit’s memory.Checking Program ContentsTo check the contents of a programwhile the unit is stopped, press the Skipbuttons ^ f and the InformationDisplay will step through each of theprogrammed discs and tracks.Clearing ProgramsWhen the unit is stopped, but the PROGRAMindicator is still lit, you may clear the entirecontents of a program by pressing theClear button 9 m.
