PLAYER/RADIO MENU 23ENGLISHIf you have a disc that contains both MP3 filesand JPEG images, you can choose to run thesesimultaneously, mixing the MP3 audio with yourown images. The time interval can be chosen inthe Picture Setting.Also you can have the image files follow theaudio signal: at the end of each audio track, thenext JPEG image will be shown.With such discs, you can also either listen to theMP3 audio or watch the JPEG video files only. Inorder to do so, in stop mode, click on the AUDIOor PICTURE icons on the left part of the screen toselect or deselect the desired format. Once done,the tracklist will only show the MP3 or JPEG files.Radio MenuThe FM Tuner in the HS 150 can be used to listento the Radio. Before listening to the radio sta-tions, you need to preset your favorite stations.The easiest way to do so is with the OSD screenon your monitor.1. Press the Radio button 0 on the remotecontrol to turn the DVD Receiver on and selectRadio as the source. Also make sure that yourvideo monitor connected to the HS 150 isswitched on.2. The TV monitor will show the RADIO Menu, asshown below. You can also select the RADIOMenu with the ARROW 9 keys on the remotecontrol. Once the RADIO tab is highlighted, pressENTER 6 to access the RADIO Menu.The RADIO Menu shows the selected Audiomode, the name of a station currently played (aslong as RDS is available) and a Station list listingthe 30 stations with their preset, station nameand frequency.Note: The stations can be preset auto-matically or manually. The Manual Presetmode is described first. The Auto Presetmode is described later in this manual.3. The RDS and AUTO Tune functions areswitched on by default, shown by the darkblue icons, to make the process of tuning yourfavorite stations as easy as possible. Move thecursor to the end of the first station line in themenu. The frequency will be highlighted and abrief explanation will appear in the UpperMenu Line on the bottom of the menu.NOTE: Both RDS and AUTO Tune functions canbe switched off by moving the cursor button tothe icon at the left side of the menu and pressingthe Enter Button on the remote control so that itturns light blue.4. Pressing the search G / H button HJwill scan the FM band for the first availableradio station with acceptable reception. Thescan will stop once a station is found and thename of the station will be displayed (as longas RDS is transmitted by the station).The station will be stored automatically on thecurrent preset.If you know the frequency of your station, youcan also tune the frequency directly with the helpof the numeric keys of the remote control. Movethe cursor to the end of the station line and pressthe frequency with the numeric keys. Press Enter6 twice to store.5. Move the cursor to the next station line in themenu. Follow the directions in step 3 and inthe Upper Menu Line to store all your radiostations in the tuner’s memory.Rearranging the station listOnce all the stations have been stored in thememory, you can rearrange the station list,putting your favorite stations on top of the list.1. Move the cursor in the left column in thestation list to the first station you would like torearrange.2. Press Enter 6 to activate the current station.The cursor will move to the Lower Menu Lineof the screen.3. Select the desired preset from the list bymoving the cursor right or left. Press Enter 6to activate the change. The cursor will moveback to the new station line.4. Repeat step 3 until all radio stations havebeen rearranged according to yourpreferences.Selecting presetsOnce rearranged, presets can be chosen at anytime by pressing the numeric key correspondingto the preset you would like to listen to.Depending on whether the RDS function isactive, the station name will show on the frontpanel Information Display.Pressing the Previous/Next I / J ButtonEF will select the next radio station.Presets can also be chosen in the Radio Menu.Move the cursor to the preset you would like tolisten to and press Enter 6 to activate. Anarrow in front of the preset will light to show theactive radio station. The cursor can be movedaround the menu without changing the currentradio station. Pressing the Previous/Next I / JButton EF at any position in the menu willselect the next radio station, that is for instancefrom preset 3 to preset 4, even if the cursor ishighlighting preset 11. Pressing the Play buttonwill always return the cursor to the currentstation played, no matter were it was previously(even when another menu is open).Removing presetsIf you wish to remove presets from your presetlist, follow the steps below.1. Move the cursor in the left column in thestation list to the preset you would like toremove.2. Press Enter 6 to activate the current station.The cursor will move to the Lower Menu Lineof the screen.3. Select Remove from the list and press Enter6. The cursor will move back to the originalstation line.4. Repeat step 3 until all radio stations youwould like to delete have been removed.Auto Preset functionWhen the cursor is moved to the " # " icon ontop of the preset numbers you can activate theAuto Preset function, clear the completefrequency list or restore all default frequenciesset by the factory.When the Auto Preset is selected the tuner willscan the full FM range and store all stations withacceptable reception one after another on thepresets. The frequency scanned will appear onthe left lower side of the menu while the fre-quency of each station stored will be shown onthe right side of the list. When the complete FMrange is scanned or all presets (30) are loadedwith stations the scan will stop and the firstpreset be selected.You also can stop the scan at any time by pressingthe STOP button I.
