The measuredvalues will otherwise be incorrect.■ Only use the monitor on persons whose upper arm circumference is within therange indicated for the monitor.■ If measured values are questionable, repeat the measurement.■ Do not leave the device unattended near small children or persons whocannot operate it themselves. There is a risk of strangulation if the cufftube becomes wrapped around the neck. Swallowing small parts that havedetached from the monitor can also result in suffocation.■ Do not under any circumstances carry out blood pressure measurements onnewborns, babies or toddlers.■ Please do not place the cuff over a wound as this may cause further injuries.■ Do not place the cuff on persons who have had a mastectomy.■ Please note that the pressure build-up in the cuff can lead to temporarydisruption of medical devices being used at the same time on the same arm.■ Do not use the blood pressure monitor together with a high frequencysurgical device.■ If an intravascular treatment is present or there is an arteriovenous access(e.g. AV shunt) on the arm, measuring the blood pressure can lead toinjuries. Never use the cuff on the arm to which these conditions apply.
