Removal and Replacement Procedures 3-55Three-Digit Display Models 340, 34H, 350, 355, 360/36T, 365,370/37T, and 375, 380, 390, 39HRemoval 1. Set the power switches of the attached devices to Off.2. Set the power switch of the system unit to Off and unplug the external power cable.3. If the system unit has a rear cover, do the rear cover removal procedure on page 3-3.4. Do the top cover removal procedure on page 3-4.5. On all models except 380, 390, and 39H, do the front cover removal procedure on page3-6.6. On models 380, 390, and 39H, do the card guide frame removal procedure on page3-43.7. Pull up on the connector handle of the three-digit display.8. To remove the three-digit display from the card guide, push the back of the display whiletwisting and pulling the display from the front.Replacement1. While aligning the flex-circuit cable in its plastic guide shield, twist and push thethree-digit display into the card guide frame.2. On models 380, 390, and 39H, do the card guide frame replacement procedure on page3-43.3. Push the 3-digit display connector into the planar connector.4. On all models except 380, 390, and 39H, do the front cover replacement procedure onpage 3-6.5. Do the top cover replacement procedure on page 3-4.6. If the system unit has a rear cover, do the rear cover replacement procedure on page7. Set the power switches of the attached devices to On.8.
