You canuse it to configure the network as a startable device, and you can customize wherethe network Startup optional devices occurs in the startup sequence. Enable anddisable the Broadcom NetXtreme Gigabit Ethernet Boot Agent from theConfiguration/Setup Utility program.To enable the Broadcom NetXtreme Gigabit Ethernet boot agent, complete thefollowing steps:1. From the Configuration/Setup Utility main menu, select Startup Option andpress Enter.2. Select Planar Ethernet PXE/DHCP and use the Right Arrow (ā) key to set it toPlanar Ethernet.3. Under the Startup Optionā Startup Sequence Options menu choice, set thenetwork-planar device as the first startup device.4. Select Save Settings and press Enter.Configuring the Broadcom NetXtreme Gigabit Ethernet controllerThe Ethernet controller is integrated on the system board.
