The new line of Intel processorsdelivers unprecedented intelligent performance with features like adaptive performance forapplications and environments, Turbo Boost Technology and Hyper-Threading Technology, andintegrated power gates and automated power management.The x3630 M3 supports up to 12 DIMMs / 192GB of RDIMM 1333MHz DDR3 memory andprovides Chipkill™ ECC (Error Checking and Correcting) protection—for high performance andreliability. For even higher levels of availability, the x3630 M3 also offers memory mirroring.Two integrated high-speed Gigabit Ethernet ports are included, as are two high-performancePCIe adapter slots. The x3630 M3 offers an optional embedded hypervisor to manage yourvirtual workloads.Some System x3630 M3 models support up to 14 hot-swap 3.5-inch Serial-Attached SCSI(SAS) or Serial-Attached ATA (SATA) HDDs with an internal storage capacity of up to 28TB.Other models support up to 28 hot-swap 2.5-inch SAS (16.8TB) or SATA (14TB) drives.
