Note: The terminator end of the cable does not go through the slot in the harddisk drive cage.9. Connect the cables to the back of the tape drive.10. Push the tape drive assembly into the bays, gently pulling the cables fartherinto the server as you do so, until the tape drive assembly stops.11. Push the tray handle to the closed (locked) position.12. Remove the backing from the hook-and-loop fastener on the SCSI terminator.Attach the terminator to the top of the CD/DVD drive bay as shown in thefollowing illustration.SCSI terminator13. Connect the tape drive signal cable connector and power cable connector tothe system board (See “System-board internal cable connectors” on page 19for the location of the connectors).14. Route the SCSI signal cable under the SAS cable, through the slot in the sideof the air baffle and connect it to the SCSI adapter.
