This chapterdescribes how to access the BIOS setup program and the configuration options that maybe changed.5.1.1 Starting SetupThe Phoenix Award BIOS is activated when the computer is turned on. The setup programcan be activated in one of two ways.1. Press the D ELETE key as soon as the system is turned on or2. Press the D ELETE key when the “Press Del to enter SETUP” messageappears on the screen.If the message disappears, restart the computer and try again.5.1.2 Using SetupUse the arrow keys to highlight items, press ENTER to select, use the P AGE U P andP AGE D OWN keys to change entries, press F1 for help and press ESC to quit.
