TANK-GM45 Embedded SystemPage 113.1 Installation PrecautionsDuring installation, be aware of the precautions below: Read the user manual: The user manual provides a complete description ofthe TANK-GM45, installation instructions and configuration options. DANGER! Disconnect Power: Power to the TANK-GM45 must bedisconnected during the installation process, or before any attempt is made toaccess the rear panel. Electric shock and personal injury might occur if therear panel of the TANK-GM45 is opened while the power cord is stillconnected to an electrical outlet. Qualified Personnel: The TANK-GM45 must be installed and operated onlyby trained and qualified personnel. Maintenance, upgrades, or repairs mayonly be carried out by qualified personnel who are familiar with the associateddangers. Air Circulation: Make sure there is sufficient air circulation when installing theTANK-GM45. The TANK-GM45’s cooling vents must not be obstructed by anyobjects. Blocking the vents can cause overheating of the TANK-GM45. Leaveat least 5 cm of clearance around the TANK-GM45 to prevent overheating. Grounding: The TANK-GM45 should be properly grounded. The voltagefeeds must not be overloaded. Adjust the cabling and provide externalovercharge protection per the electrical values indicated on the label attachedto the back of the TANK-GM45.3.2 Hard Disk Drive (HDD) InstallationTo install the hard drive, please follow the steps below:Step 1: Remove the bottom panel by removing 15 retention screws from the rear panel(Figure 3-1) and the bottom panel (Figure 3-2).Figure 3-1: Bottom Panel Retention Screws (Rear Panel)
