The opening screen fig. 6 appears and the setting for the sa-fety temperature is activated for five seconds. "SafeTemp" fla-shes on the display, see also "Setting the safety temperature". The display then switches from "SafeTemp" to "Temp" andthe SET function is activated. Set the desired heating bath target temperature by turningthe rotary/push knob (C), see fig. 8. The SET function flashes every few seconds. Confirm the value by pressing the rotary/push knob again (C).If not confirmed, the set value is not saved. The SET function stops flashing. Start the heating process by pressing the rotary/push knob (C).Operating modesOperating mode A Switch on the device at the rocker switch (B). The heating function is switched off. The heating function must be restarted following a powerfailure. The following settings are possible/adjustable:- the target value,- the safety circuit,- the controller tempering medium. When the device is switched on at the mains switch, A ap-pears (fig. 10).Factory setting: Mode AOperating elements, see fig. 11 Switch on the device using the main switch (B), see fig. 1. At every start the used software version and the set operatingmode are indicated, see fig. 10. The heating bath temperature is held constant by the controlcircuit and is additionally monitored by the safety circuit. In the event of an error in the control circuit, the heating bathis switched off permanently by the safety circuit. An error in the control or safety circuit is shown on the display,LC display see fig. 5.The 'Heating' function can no longer be started. When switching off the heating function and the mediumtemperature is higher than 50° C, on the LC display is shownalternately OFF and HOT, see fig. 4 and 6.CDFig. 11The unit is ready for service whenthe mains plug has been pluggedin.Unpacking• Unpacking- Please unpack the device carefully- In the case of any damage a fact report must be sent imme-diately (post, rail or forwarder)• Delivery scopeHeating bath IKA ® HB 10- Heating bath- Mains cable- Operating instructions
