10ENGLISHInstallationInstallation modesThe hood has been designed to be installedand used either as a “Exhaust mode”, or as a“Recirculation mode”.Exhaust mode (see symbol9min 471 mmmax 861 mmmin 569 mmmax 861 mmmin 471 mmmax 861 mmmin 569 mmmax 861 mmininstallation booklet)Cooking steam is sucked and channelledoutside the house through a discharge duct(not supplied), fitted to the hood steamoutlet.Ensure that the discharge duct is correctlyfitted to the air outlet, unit using anappropriate connection system.Recirculation mode (see symbol9min 471 mmmax 861 mmmin 569 mmmax 861 mmmin 471 mmmax 861 mmmin 569 mmmax 861 mmininstallation booklet)The air is filtered through one or more thecharcoal filters, and then resent into room.Important: Ensure appropriate aircirculation around the hood.Important: If the hood is supplied withoutcharcoal filters and installed on recirculationmode, these must be fitted before the hoodcan be used. Filters are available in shops.The hood should be installed away fromparticularly dirty areas, windows, doors andheat sources.The accessories for wall fixing are notincluded because wall made of differentmaterials require different types of fixingaccessories. Use fixing systems suitable forthe walls of your home and the weight ofthe appliance.
