11 ACCESSORIESSupplied accessories■NOTE: Some accessories are not supplied with dependingon versions.Flexible antennaBattery packBelt clipAccessory attachments■Flexible antennaDConnect the supplied flexible antenna tothe antenna connector.CAUTION:• NEVER carry the transceiver byholding the antenna.• DO NOT connect the antenna otherthan listed on page 24.• Transmitting without an antennamay damage the transceiver.Battery packDTo attach the battery pack:Slide the battery pack in the direction of the arrow (q) untilthe battery release button makes a ‘click’ sound.NOTE: Push on the bottom of the pack to make sure therelease button is firmly locked.To release the battery pack:Slide the battery release button in the direction of the arrow(w) as shown below. The battery pack is then released.NEVER release or attach the battery pack when the trans-ceiver is wet or soiled. This may result water or dust get-ting into the transceiver/battery pack and may result in thetransceiver being damaged.qwBattery release buttonNOTE: Keep the battery terminals clean. It's a good ideato regularly clean them.
