15BOXER combination boiler - Installation and ServicingINSTALLATIONFLUE OUTLET15 PREPARING THE WALLWARNING. Ensure that, during the cutting operation, masonry falling outside of the building does notcause damage or personal injury.1. Cut the flue hole (preferably with a 5" core boringtool), ensuring that the hole is square to the wall. Both wall faces immediately around the cut holeshould be flat.2. Drill 2 holes (see frame 14) with a 12 mm (1/2")masonry drill and insert the plastic plugscomplete with hook screws, provided, for theupper boiler bracket.orDrill 4 holes (see frame 14) with a 12 mm (1/2")masonry drill for the stand-off kit.16 CUTTING THE FLUE - REAR Wall thicknesses of 114 to 620 mmNote.a. If using the extension ducts go to Frame 20.b. If the upward routing pipe stand-off kit is used it isessential add 50 mm to 'X' the measured wallthickness when marking the flue (this will allow for thefitted stand-off kit).1. Measure and note wall thickness X - Refer to Frame 122. Add 90 mm (3 9/16íí) to dimension X and, measuringfrom the groove, cut the outer tube only.3. To ensure the tube is cut square, mark the flue all theway round.4. Cut the inner tube to a length 20 mm (3/4") longer toaid engagement.17 CUTTING THE FLUE - SIDE Wall thicknesses of 114 to 580 mmNote. If using the extension ducts go to Frame 20.1. Measure and note wall thickness X - Refer to Frame 122. Add 130 mm (5 1/8") to dimension X and, measuringfrom the groove, cut the outer tube only.3. To ensure the tube is cut square, mark the flue all theway round.4. Cut the inner tube to a length 20 mm (3/4") longer toaid engagement.Note. If the terminal is to be sited within 25-40 mm of a corner or verticalpipe then the hole MUST be accurately cut.Rear flueonly 5íídiameterholeSide flueonly 5íídiameterholeNote: Check all of the holepositions before drilling.SectionthroughwallXWith stand-off kitWithout stand-off kit0HDVXUH0HDVXUHIURP*5229(PP0HDVXUH0HDVXUHIURP*5229(PPWith stand-off kit
