Main Burner PressureAfter servicing, reference should be made to Table 2,which quotes details of the rated output with therelated burner pressure and heat input. Any requiredadjustments should be made using the pressureadjustment screw. Refer to Frame 27, 'Initial Lighting.Refit the lower front panelREPLACEMENT OF PARTS37 GENERALWhen replacing any component:1. Isolate the electricity supply.2. Turn off the gas supply at the boiler.3. Undo the 2 screws and remove the lower front panel grille assembly.For replacement of programmer units refer to the separate Programmer Kit Instructions.36 GAS PRESSURE ADJUSTMENT1. Pilot PressurePilot adjustment is factory set to maximum andno adjustment is possible.38 SIGHTGLASS REPLACEMENT39 PILOT BURNER REPLACEMENT1. Refer to Frame 37.2. Unfasten the 2 M5 hexagon nuts and washers.Remove the assembly from the front plate.3. Fit the new sightglass and reassemble, asshown.4. Retighten the 2 M5 hexagon nuts to ensure anairtight seal. Do NOT overtighten.1. Refer to Frame 37.2. Undo the 2 screws, lift off the frontpanel and remove the grilleassembly. Refer to Frame 31.3. Disconnect the electrical leadsfrom the gas valve.4. Disconnect the ignition lead fromthe PCB.5. Undo the gas cock union. Removethe 4 wing nuts and withdraw theburner and controls assembly,complete, from the boiler.6. Prise the retaining clip out of thegroove in the electrode, using asmall screwdriver, and withdrawthe electrode.7. Undo the pilot supply pipeconnection and ease clear ofthe pilot burner. DO NOT LOSEthe pilot injector, which is apush-fit in the pilot burnerhousing.8. Remove the 2 securing screwsand washers, and withdraw thepilot burner.9. Fit the new pilot burner andreassemble in reverse order,ensuring that:a. The injector is in positionwhen refitting the pilotsupply.b. A gas-tight joint is made.c.
