F Quality ControlThe purpose of Quality Control (QC) is to verify that your VetTest* Chemistry Analyzeris functioning properly. The following QC procedure verifies both the VetTest opticsgroups and the integrity of your slides. If a QC test fails (i.e., test results fall outside ofUIFSFGFSFODFSBOHFPOUIF7FU5FTUQSJOUPVU GPMMPXUIFQSPDFEVSFDIBSUPOQBHF'to determine the source of failure. If the problem persists, contact IDEXX TechnicalSupport. You should run a QC test:When the analyzer is first installed.t0ODFFWFSZGPVS XFFLTGPSBSPVUJOFDIFDLtIf the analyzer has been moved or bumped severely.tIf fluid has been spilled on the analyzer.tIf you think your results are incorrect.tIDEXX recommends that you run a quality control analysis once a month. You do notneed to run quality control when the reminder appears; you can do it at a time that isconvenient for you. Each time you run the monthly quality control, the VetTest analyzer automatically storesthe date in its memory and displays the QC reminder 30 days later.Quality Control MaterialsTo run quality control on the VetTest analyzer, you need the following materials:"MJOUGSFFXJQFtIDEXX VetTest Quality Control Panel; each panel contains one chemistry slide forteach of the six optic lamps inside the analyzerIDEXX VetTrol* Control materialtIDEXX UPRO Control materialtThe control panel and materials are described in the following sections.IDEXX VetTrol* Control*%&997FU5SPM$POUSPMNBUFSJBMJTBMZPQIJMJ[FE CPWJOFCBTFEDPOUSPMnVJEUIBUJTspecially formulated for use on the VetTest analyzer to monitor its precision andaccuracy.
