Part 1 – Introduction171 ID ButtonUsed to assign remote control ID values.No additional remote control assignment isnecessary if the system's ID is 0. If the system's ID isa number between 1 and 9, however, you will needto press the ID button and then press the system IDnumber (1 through 9) on the remote control. The(remote control) icon will appear on the upper rightcorner of the NVR screen (status indication area) toindicate successful system-to-remote control pairing.If using multiple systems, it's possible to control allthe units with a single remote control as long as allthe system IDs are 0. For more information on systemIDs, refer to the System Setup in the operationmanual.2 PANIC ButtonPressing this button commences recordingirrespective of the current schedule.Press the button again to deactivate Panic Recordingmode.3 Camera ButtonsPressing the Camera button while in Live or Playbackmode displays images from the selected camera infull screen. To select a camera whose channel is madeup of two digits, enter the digits in sequence usingthe number keys.4 STATUS ButtonDisplays event recording device and networkstatuses.5 LAYOUT Button1x1> corridor format > 2x2 > 1+5> 1+7> 3x3 > 4x46 PTZ Control ButtonsUsed in PTZ mode to zoom in/out on the screen andto shift focus between a nearby point and a far awaypoint.7 REGISTER MODE ButtonUsed in Live mode to access Camera Registrationmode.8 THUMBNAIL ButtonUsed in Playback mode to access Thumbnail Searchmode. Thumbnail Search mode displays thumbnailsof video recordings and allows you to searchrecordings based on date, time, minutes and secondsparameters.9 CALENDAR ButtonDisplays a video recording playback screen thatincludes a calendar.0 KEYLOCK ButtonLocks out all remote control keys.
