453.5. DECORATIVE PANEL INSTALLATIONTo make brick pattern plate installation easier a notch is made at the bottom of the plate to pass over theburner without to remove it. But the surrounding burner plate or logs have to be removed. Otherwise youcannot install the brick pattern plates.Depending on the model, both plate sizes could be required. Always start by installing the small plate.3.5.1. DECORATIVE BLACK GLASS INSTALLATIONIt's possible to install black glass instead of brick decorative panel. You can buy it to your local retailer ofJ.A. Roby product. The installation of the small glass panel is exactly the same than the small decorativeplate.The installation of the large glass plate is slightly different. You have to insert the base of the glass platefirst then tilt it to the left or right to pass the door frame. Setting it down gently on the floor of the combustionchamber and push it gently to the vertical position and secure it like the large decorative plate with thetabs at the top of the fireplace.3.5.2. SMALL DECORATIVE PLATE INSTALLATION• Insert the plate from the top. To do so, tilt the plate and insert it between the beams, then push it up(figure 3.5.1.a).• Push the plate all the way to the back so that it stands vertically and press it against the base (figure3.5.1.b).• Fold the retaining tabs located at the top of the fireplace (figure 3.5.1.c).3.5.3. LARGE DECORATIVE PLATE INSTALLATION• Insert the plate from the top.
