Make sure wall poweroutlet or power strip haspower. Make sure allswitches for outlet/powerstrip are on and that allswitches for speakersystem are on.Check green power LED onthe sub. Are the LED’s on?If the sub’s led is not on,power is not getting to yourspeaker system. Try thesolutions shown.No sound from SpeakersIs the control/right satellite ofyour Creature plugged incorrectly?Ensure that the controlspeaker connector ispushed in properly.Remove the control /rightspeaker connector fromthe subwoofer, then re-connect this cableensuring that theconnector is pushed inproperly.There is an LED located inthe bottom of each of thetwo satellite speakers.These should both be lit. Ifthey are, your speakers areboth plugged in correctly.Noise may be caused byinterference from themonitor.Turn monitor off to see ifnoise is eliminated. Movespeaker cables fartheraway from monitor.Speaker is being overdrivenby an amplified audiosource.Ensure that speaker isconnected to theappropriate receptacle.Check color-coding onconnectors when makingconnections. Make surethat all signal cables areinserted snugly intoreceptacles.Volume level on sound cardmay be too high.Check volume of soundcard via Windows VolumeControl.Sound card or audio sourcematerial may be cause ofproblem.Check speakers withanother audio source.Disconnect speaker inputcable (green connector)from sound card and pluginto CD ROM headphonejack. If static is eliminated,troubleshoot the soundcard.Distortion (static, cracklingor hissing sounds)Check the speaker controlsettings.Set each of the two knobs(treble, bass level) on frontof the subwoofer back thetheir center /nominalpositions.Too much bass or treble.
