5Jabra sportturnInG your Jabra sPort on and oFFTo turn your Jabra SPORT on press the On/Off button (A) until theindicator light flashes blue to turn your Jabra sport off press theOn/Off button until the indicator light flashes Blue.PaIrInG your Jabra sPort to a Phone orother deVICeHeadsets are connected to phones or other Bluetooth devicesusing a procedure called ‘pairing’. By following a few simple steps,pairing can be done in a matter of secondsPut the headset in pairing mode1 Make sure the Jabra sport is off put the sport into pairingmode – press and hold the Answer/End button (A) until theindicator light flashes blue (the first time you turn on theJabra sport it will be in pairing mode automatically)2 Search for Bluetooth devices on your phone* or other deviceand select the Jabra sport3 If prompted for a PIN code, please enter 0000 (4 zeros) andconfirm* Follow your phone’s instruction guide. First make sure that Bluetooth isactivated on your mobile phone. Then set your phone to search for the headset.This usually involves going to a ‘setup,’ ‘connect’ or ‘Bluetooth’ menu on yourphone and selecting the option to search for or ‘add’ a Bluetooth device.Note: all communications between your Jabra sport headsetand mobile phone are encrypted, so others will not be able tointercept and understand your conversation.
