page 2210.1 Standard Filtration/Heating Modes For Modelswithout Circulation Pump OptionStandard filtration/heating modes (F1-F3) are typically selected by cus-tomers in cold climates where heat up times are extended due to lowerambient temperatures. In either of these modes, the water temperatureis regulated by the set temperature, low-speed jets pump 1 and heaterwhich turns on as needed. After the programmed set temperature isreached, the heater and low speed pump turn off, only to turn back onduring a heat call or during the next programmed filtration/heating cycle.10.2 Standard Filtration/Heating Modes For Models withCirculation Pump OptionStandard filtration/heating modes (F0-F3) are typically selected by cus-tomers in cold climates where heat up times are extended due to lowerambient temperatures. In either of these modes, the water temperatureis regulated by the set temperature, 24-hour circulation pump and heaterwhich turns on as needed. After the programmed set temperature isreached, the heater turns off and the circulation pump continues to oper-ate 24-hours to filter and clean your spa.10.3 Economy Filtration/Heating Modes (All Models)Economy filtration/heating modes (F4-F6) are typically selected bycustomers in warm climates where heat up times are minimized dueto higher ambient temperatures. In either of these modes, the watertemperature is regulated by the set temperature, low-speed pump, andheater only while a programmed filtration/heating cycle is running. Note:these modes can be used to conserve energy while on vacation or outof town for several weeks since heater operation is minimized. Duringsuch times, you can also minimize the spa set temperature to maximizeenergy savings!10.4 Lock Modes - All Models (L1-L2)These modes are designed for use during spa service or to preventunauthorized use.10.5 Selecting The Filtration/Heating ModePress and hold both control panel WARMER (+) and COOLER (-)buttons at the same time, then release. Then press either WARMER(+) or COOLER (-) button to select either filtration/heating mode or lockmode as outlined on pages 23 or 24.
